I am interested in a position working as a graphic artist. As a college student majoring in graphic design, I have professional experience to offer you. My plan is to work full time and take night classes.
My most significant experience was working at Times Printing Inc. I worked over twelve-hundred hours in a W2010 state printing apprenticeship program. By working in all departments of a printing corporation, I gained the experience of the whole printing process. I also earned college credit in graphic arts while in high-school. After graduation from the program, I worked in the electronic imaging department. I was responsible for page set-up using QuarkXPRESS, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PageMaker. I did troubleshooting, billing, and the exportation of files to either film or PDF files. I also am a freelance artist for Ken's Pools Co. in Mequon. In addition, I did projects for my high school such as prom tickets, graduation announcements, theatre shirts, brochures and towels for my senior economics class. As a graphic artist for your organization, I would bring a focus on quality and ease of use to your system development.
